Quality Engineer - Bedfordshire - Up to £45,000 + package
The Role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll help shape and develop a growing Quality function. As the first Quality Engineer in the team, you’ll have real influence over how the role evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering internal audits and supporting the wider audit schedule
- Working within ISO9001 frameworks, with opportunities to broaden into more advanced standards
- Reviewing internal processes and recommending improvements
- Updating and managing controlled documents
- Supporting supplier approval processes
- Helping develop new quality frameworks and systems
- Maintaining documentation and records through digital platforms
What You’ll Need
- Experience within a manufacturing or technical environment
- Internal auditing experience
- Strong working knowledge of ISO9001
- Able to communicate effectively across different teams
- A continuous-improvement mindset
- Engineering degree beneficial but not essential
